Sunday Assembly 3 December 2023: A Little Space for Big Conversations

Sunday Assembly 3 December 2023: A Little Space for Big Conversations

Eileen Inglis is passionate about creating meaningful networks and is interested in how we meet new people and create and find opportunities to expand our social and professional circles in real life – not just online. She founded The Conversation Project, a card game that aims to encourage people to have meaningful conversations. The game creates a little space for big conversations and facilitates openness, connection, and deep listening. Eileen will be telling us about what led her to the project, and we’ll have an opportunity to try out the cards together in a short facilitated session. They will even be available to buy – an ideal Christmas gift? It sounds like an excellent way to build a little winter cheer.

And of course there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, poems. reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting. You can help us by reserving your place here, particularly if you’re a first-timer.

Plus for December, we’re having a potluck lunch after the assembly at Lifecare, with a special quiz set by master cellist and cajonista Andy Mallarkey! Bring some food (for yourself and/or to share) if you’d like to participate.

Get your Sunday off to an enlivening and enlightening start. Free to attend, family and dog friendly. Meet some great people, sing along and help yourself and others to Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More – that’s Sunday Assembly.
