Sunday Assembly 5th July 2020: Mend It!

Sunday Assembly 5th July 2020: Mend It!

Our main Sunday Assembly online event for July is Mend It! We will be looking at the ‘regenerative economy’ with guest speaker Sophie Unwin of the Remade Network. Mending things might look like second-best to buying new, but there are many good reasons why remaking, upcycling and other creative uses of resource are key for the environment and for all of us. Join the repair revolution!

There will be the usual poems, songs to sing along with, reflections and a chance for small-group chats with nice lovely Sunday Assembly folk. And it’s still online – please register for free admission. (If you’ve already registered in the past three months you don’t need to register again, at least for this week.)

Join Edinburgh’s secular community as we all do our best to Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More and celebrate this one life we know we have. All welcome, family friendly, fun and free. See you Sunday!

PS we will be moving to twice-a-month online assemblies after 5 July, so the next event will be Sunday 19 July. More about that soon.)
