Our December Sunday Assembly is all about the power of connecting with nature, even at this darkest time of the year. Our speaker is Sarah Houldsworth, who combines a career as an exploratory geologist with a strong interest in nature connection, eco-psychology and also oral story telling.
Sarah will be exploring the necessity of reconnecting to the nature that’s all around us, wherever we are – both through sharing practical ways for us all to do this and also reflecting more generally on our connection with nature and the comfort, connection, joy, care, solace and will to act to be found in slowing down and connecting to nature. Sounds excellent!
There will also be songs to sing along with and enjoy, poems, reflections, connections and chats. As it’s no long so easy to get out and meet people, join Edinburgh’s ‘secular congregation’ on the first and third Sundays of each month as we celebrate life together and strive to Live Better, Help Often and Wonder More.
The online event is on Sunday 6th December 2020 at 11.30am for about an hour. If you’re not already registered for our online meetings, please do so at https://us02web.zoom.us/…/tJUuc-Cgrj8rHNM24RG9ookmE….
