Sunday Assembly 4 December 2022: Kind Of Festive

Our December assembly takes on a festive feel as we welcome Cindy Cosgrove from Social Bite Festival Of Kindness as our speaker. Cindy writes:

“Social Bite is on a mission to end homelessness. We help people break the cycle of homelessness through innovative supported employment and housing solutions, and give out over 180,000 items of free food year-round to those experiencing homelessness and food poverty. We act as a movement of kindness, uniting communities through mass participation fundraising events, which help to support these projects working to end homelessness.”

There will also be our usual mix of songs to sing, poems, reflections, chats, community and togetherness in a thoroughly non-religious setting.

We are also having a potluck finger food lunch after the assembly this time! Please bring some finger food if you’d like to join in. There will also be a special quiz hosted by Andy Mallarkey! Do join us to celebrate life with Edinburgh’s secular congregation.

Sunday Assembly is always free to attend! Reserve your place at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/kind-of-festive-a-sunday-assembly-event-tickets-469152897947
