Our mini-assemblies continue every Sunday at the moment, with the chance to hear some poems and reflections, connect with fellow assemblers and sing along to a song in the privacy of your own home. Sunday 24 May is about laughter (with Jenny), while Sunday 31 May sees us look at music (with Victoria and Mark).
Our monthly programme continues on Sunday 7th June 2020 when our theme is Companionship. We’re very excited to welcome Vicki Bradley as our guest speaker. Vicki works with Lifecare Edinburgh, our normal venue, and she will be talking about the work of Lifecare Edinburgh in supporting older and vulnerable people both before and during the virus lockdown. Sunday Assembly Edinburgh have been supporting Lifecare by continuing to donate during the crisis, and we are looking forward to hearing more about what goes on in the space we normally occupy for a couple of hours on a Sunday.
We will also have our usual ‘extended’ programme of four songs, poems, notices, event announcements and, as always, the chance to connect and have a chat with some different assemblers. We know it’s hard in lockdown and we’d like to offer the chance to simply have a chat with a new face and voice or two online as things move forward.
Do join us – all welcome. If you aren’t already registered, please do so at this link. (Previous registrations are carried over.) Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More.
