We are continuing our series of Sunday morning 11.30am online events with the May assembly. The theme this time is You Gotta Move, and we are delighted to be joined by guest speaker Amanda Pitkethly from Edinburgh Napier University with a topic that feels particularly relevant in lockdown times. She writes:
“Inactivity is dangerous! Have you heard this before? Have you been told you need to do more? But who likes being told what to do? We all know we should probably do more, but do we want to? Are you frustrated that people you know don’t do what they know they should. What would motivate us to change?”
We will also be having poems, reflections, and songs to sing along to in the privacy of your own home. There will also be the chance to get together in small groups with fellow Assemblers to see how everyone’s doing. The whole thing will take about an hour.
To join us, please register using this link. You will get an email with the link for the actual meeting. (If you have registered for our mini-assemblies over the past couple of weeks, you don’t need to register again – you’re already in.)
