We are starting 2021 with an assembly about the power of walking, talking and listening together. (This is very much allowed, at least in pairs, in the current situation!). Our guest speaker is Karen Lawson, Collaborative Learning Lead at Collective Leadership for Scotland (part of the Scottish Government) . Karen is closely involved with creating the Creative Bravery and Firestarter Festivals, and has a lot of experience in the art of dialogue and listening. She will be speaking about how anyone can use ‘dialogue walks’ to explore, expand and create new awareness and possibility – followed by the chance to experience a short dialogue for yourself in our breakout room session.
The programme will also feature some rousing New Year songs to get in the mood for 2021. We will also be showing the full video package prepared by Sunday Assembly Edinburgh for the Yule Rockdown Lockdown event. Do join Edinburgh’s secular congregation to start 2021 in the spirit of Live Better, Help Often and Wonder More.
We continue to meet on Zoom. Our registration link remains the same as 2020, and if you are already registered you don’t need to do so again. The link is https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUuc-Cgrj8rHNM24RG9ookmE_3XiSAzPRGr.
