Our April 2022 Sunday Assembly Edinburgh is once again ONLINE ONLY. We are making preparations to return to IRL at Lifecare in Stockbridge starting on Sunday 1st May.
Our April assembly has a super theme and a tremendous speaker. We’re talking about The Wonders of Wild Swimming with renowned illustrator, designer and maker Alice Melvin. During the pandemic lockdowns Alice discovered wild swimming and found it helped her in all kinds of ways. She says:
“I began open water swimming in my twenties, and for the past 18months have been doing so regularly. I’ll be talking about how wild swimming has helped me, and how my relationship towards it has shifted. I can also share some of the sketchbooks that I take to the beach.”
It sounds like we are in for a treat that really fits with our desire to both Live Better and Wonder More. We will be hosted by Sue, Lara will choose some poems, there will be songs to enjoy together and a chance of a chat with fellow assemblers.
Join Edinburgh’s ‘secular congregation’ as we celebrate life together in a non-religious, inclusive and life-affirming way. All welcome. If you are not already registered you can do so (beforehand please) by clicking here. 11.30am start on Sunday 3rd April for about an hour.
If you are in Glasgow and would like to experience Sunday Assembly, we have exciting news! Sunday Assembly Glasgow is launching on Sunday 3rd April at 11am!
