Sunday Assembly 11 November 2018: Connect and Survive

November’s Sunday Assembly (on the SECOND Sunday, not the usual first Sunday) is about the importance of connection in our lives and wellbeing. Our special guest speaker is Morna O’May, Head of Service Scotland for Contact The Elderly, the only national charity solely dedicated to tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people through face to face contact.

There will be the usual programme of poems, songs to sing with the house band, reflections, connection and (of course) cake! This assembly is happening on Remembrance day, and we will be marking the event with poetry and a reflective song or two. And of course there will also be laughter, fun and friendship.

Sunday Assembly Edinburgh is family (and dog) friendly and free to attend. We will meet at our usual location, Lifecare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne Street, EH4 1JB. Join us to celebrate life and help each other to Live Better, Help Often and Wonder More.
