Sunday Assembly 2 December: Fire and Festivity

Sunday Assembly 2 December: Fire and Festivity

It’s December, the start of the festive season, and at Sunday Assembly we can festivate along with the best of them. Our theme this month is ‘Fire and Festivity’, and we are very excited to be joined by Brad Macarthur from the Beltane Society. Brad will be sharing how Beltane’s fire festivals originated, how they play a part in Edinburgh’s scene and how their activities build community and sustain themselves.  It promises to be a blaze of excitement and information.

There will also be our usual mix of songs to sing with the house band, poems, reflections, coffee and cake.  This event will be followed by our Festive Shindig potluck lunch party – tickets are required, book them while you can at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sunday-assembly-festive-shindig-2018-tickets-51708002026

As always, Sunday Assembly is family (and dog) friendly, fun and free. We will meet at our usual location, Lifecare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne Street, EH4 1JB. Join us to celebrate life and help each other to Live Better, Help Often and Wonder More.
