Join us for our October Sunday Assembly! The theme is Be The Sea Change with guest speaker Renée Philippi. Renée is speaking on behalf of the Marine Conservation Society (MCS). MCS is a UK charity fighting for a cleaner, better protected, healthier ocean–one we can all enjoy. Renée will provide an introduction to what MCS does, why it matters, and how each of us can contribute in our own way to saving our seas. She developed a deep (pun intended) love of the ocean when she started scuba diving over 20 years ago and volunteers as a Sea Champion for MCS. She plans to be a mermaid when she grows up.
And of course there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, poems. reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting. Get your Sunday off to an enlivening and enlightening start. Free to attend, family and dog friendly. Meet some great people, hear about the ocean and sing along – that’s Sunday Assembly this month.
