Sunday Assembly 4 August 2019: How to be an optimist (despite everything)

Join us for a Fringe special on Sunday 4th August 2019 at 11.30am as we welcome veteran comedian, writer, actor and all-round star Nick Revell. Nick is a comedy original – he started out at the Comedy Store in 1980 and has written and appeared on TV (Drop The Dead Donkey) and radio (Million Pound Radio Show with Andy Hamilton). Nick’s 2019 Fringe show is Eurasia’s Most Eligible Psychopaths and their lovely homes (Stand 4, 3.35 pm through the festival). He will join us to talk about ‘How to be an optimist (despite everything)’ which sounds like a useful bit of know-how.

We will be celebrating life as usual with songs to sing with the house band, poems, reflections, Abi is ‘doing her best’, talks and cake. Come and join us as we all strive in our non-religious community to live better, help often and wonder more. Family and dog friendly, fun and free.

Venue is the usual Lifecare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne Street, Stockbridge EH4 1JB. Get there early for a coffee!
