Sunday Assembly 7 April 2024 – Flavours Of Neurodiversity

Sunday Assembly 7 April 2024 – Flavours Of Neurodiversity

We meet to celebrate life at Sunday Assembly and welcome all who welcome all. It helps to recognise and value the many different ways there are to be human. This month we mark World Autism Acceptance Week with the theme Flavours Of Neurodiversity. Art therapist, SA community member (and recently-recognosed autistic person) Sarah Haywood will be talking about why it’s important that we consider these as regular variations of human experience, rather than pathologies/disorders/problems that need”fixing” or “preventing”. We’re all looking forward to this meeting.

And of course there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, poems, reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting.

Get your Sunday off to an enlivening and enlightening start. Free to attend, family and dog friendly. Meet some great people, sing along and help yourself and others to Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More – that’s Sunday Assembly.

Sunday 7 April 2024, 11.30am, Lifecare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne St, Stockbridge EH4 1JB. Free to attend, family and dog friendly.
