Sunday Assembly 7th May 2023: Remaking and the Circular Economy

Sunday Assembly, the global movement of wonder and good for ‘churches without God’, continues in Edinburgh with our May assembly. The theme is Remaking and the Circular Economy with guest speaker Elaine Brown of Edinburgh Remakery (now in Ocean Terminal). Elaine will talk both about the work of the Remakery in giving new life to old things, and also the wider picture of a move to a circular economy where materials are used for as long as possible.

And as usual there will be songs to sing with our house band, poems, reflections, chats, tea and cake. Join Edinburgh’s ‘secular congregation’ and enjoy a wonderful start to your Sunday. We are about inclusive community, inspiring ourselves, supporting others and celebrating this one life we know we have.

Sunday 7 May 2023, 11.30am, Lifecare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne St, Stockbridge EH4 1JB. Free to attend, family and dog friendly.

Please reserve your place here (free) – we are looking forward to meeting you.

“I’m so thankful to have recently heard of Sunday Assembly and now to have joined. It’s just what I think has been missing for me and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I’m loving it.” – says a recent member of our ‘congregration’.
